Help request: Survey on Quantum Careers

Michael Fox

We are a team of researchers from the Physics Departments at the University of Bristol, Imperial College London, and the University of Colorado, who have designed a survey to better understand undergraduate and master’s students’ perceptions of, interest in, and preparation for work in the quantum industry.

We are interested in distributing this anonymous survey to your students to capture responses from a wide variety of students who have taken at least one quantum course in the UK/Europe. While this survey is not intended to provide feedback on your instructional practices, we will be able to share a report of the analysed aggregated data about your students’ perceptions of the quantum industry with you.

If you are interested in having your students participate in this study, please fill out the following form, so that we can create an individualized link for your course. Form link: https://cuboulder.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_80umQTMNQhd5QnI

Note that this link is to a form for instructors to complete so that researchers can set up the survey for students.

If you do not have direct contact with students who may be interested in this survey, please feel free to forward this information to other instructors in your department/school.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the graduate student leading the project, Kristin Oliver at kristin.oliver@colorado.edu.

Thank you in advance,

Michael Fox and the quantum education team
