The QAA has opened the consultation on the new Subject Benchmark Statement for Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics. This is an important document which is referenced in the IOP accreditation documentation, as it is used to set out the fundamental areas of Physics that accredited degree programmes should cover, as well as the skills Physics graduates are expected to develop during their studies.

Responses to the consultation should be submitted via the online survey. The closing date for responses is midday on 20 November.
